The Stormtroopers of Diversity

Something that few people are mentioning is the value of exclusion. Why must all companies be diverse in sexuality or diverse racially? Perhaps diversity is something that best exists in terms of freedom — that people have the freedom to assemble in any groups they wish and diversity then results. Diversity cannot insist that every organization must be identical in their diversity.

Unity is what is important — agreement on the minimums for a free society and an impartial government. If we let individuals and states do what they wish, then again, diversity naturally results. The arrogance of the diversity set, however, is essentially limitless. Only they know what is best, and their judgment is that every workplace must be identical. Every organization must be identical, even down to the point of forcing the Boy Scouts to admit girls. They are completely willing to burn down another group’s freedom of association in the name of uniformity.

They are not interested in freedom to exclude, even though you cannot have improvement without exclusion. Some people simply will not be a good fit at a particular company or school or institution. The performance of the whole can only improve when those who are not making the bar are excluded. We see this time and time again when it comes to seeking excellence.

Teaching sex-segregated classrooms also yields better performance for learners, but this is not allowed according to the stormtroopers of diversity. Only when every organization everywhere is identical can they rest. The results are irrelevant as long as everything looks the same. Functionality is meaningless. Achievement doesn’t matter. Excellence is evil.

It is time to stop forcing everyone and every company to be the same. Diversity means that we all aren’t the same, so why then is diversity enforcing a lack of diversity? Why is diversity trying to instill uniformity?
